Q2: How do I register?
Simply click on the register button on the homepage or click
here and
fill out the details requested.
Q3: How can I change my details after I have registered?
To change your details you need to be logged in. When you are logged
in you can simply click on the 'Account Maintenance ' button in the
‘My Account’ box on the homepage, there you will be able to change your
details and even your password.
Q4: I have lost my password, how can I find out what it is?
You need to request a new password. To do this click the
‘Forgotten Password’ button, this can be found with the ‘Login’ screen.
You will need to enter your username. A link enabling you to set a new password, will be sent to
the e-mail address used when you first registered.
Q5: Do I need to register to search on UKAdCentre.co.uk?
No, you can perform searches without having the need to register,
however if you want to place an ad then you must register to do so.
Registration is quick, easy and free.
Q6: How do I perform searches on UKAdCentre.co.uk?
You simply type in the search box what you are looking for, enter
as much information in this box to narrow down your search results.
You can then filter down your search results by selecting either a
County, a Town or searching within a certain distance of your postcode.
Q7: Why do I not get any search results?
Firstly make sure you have spelt the words correctly in the search
box, if the message’No Active Ads for this selection’ appears there
are simply no ads currently on the site that match your search criteria.
Q8: How do I place an advert online?
In order to place an advert you must be registered with UKAdCentre.co.uk,
click here
to do this now. Once registered you can click on the red
coloured ‘Place Your Ad Now’ button on the homepage. From here there
are 10 easy steps before you click the ‘Post Ad Now’ button at the
bottom of the page. Your ad will then be verified to ensure it meets
our terms & conditions before then being posted online.
Please note all adverts where a picture has been uploaded have a
chance of being randomly selected by our computer and placed on the
homepage as well as under its designated category.
Q9: Does it cost me to place an advert?
No, all adverts are completely free of charge to place, you must
be registered though to place and ad, you can register by clicking
here.
Q10: How long does my advert appear on the website for?
Adverts appear online for 14 days from once they are approved, you
can end any advert within this time by clicking on the ‘My Account’
button followed by selecting ’My Ads’
Q11: Can I have photo’s with my advert?
Yes, you can post up to 3 photos with your adverts online. Photos
must be in JPEG format.
Q12: How do I amend my advert?
You simply select My Account followed by My Ads, you must Withdraw the ad first, then click
Amend and make your necessary changes and Re-submit. Once your site is validated it will then go
live on the website.
Q13: How does the Googlemap button work?
The tool is designed to give the user a general idea of where the seller is located. For security
reasons the full address will never be disclosed - only the first part of the postcode.
Q14: How do I change my UKAdCentre contact telephone number?
For security reasons users are unable to change their telephone number within the My Account section
of the site. Please click here
